Hello,

I am having difficulty with the links that are created by DotNetNuke in the breadcrumbs.  These links are specifying a hostname that does not match the requested address.  For example, when a user requests http://www.domain.com, the links in the breadcrumbs end up directing you to http://internalcomputername.domain.com

internalcomputername.domain.com will only work on our internal intranet and won't work outside the firewall.

How exactly do I control which of the portal aliases is used to construct the breadcrumb links.  Better yet, can I force the breadcrumb links to use no hostname?

Ex: <a href="/Home/TabId/36/Default.aspx">  instead of  <a href="http://www.domain.com/Home/TabId/36/Default.aspx">

if the link is replaced by an absolute one, usually the first portal alias is used. Since you cannot change order of portal aliases in Site Settings, you need to adjust them in database directly.

It turned out to be a firewall issue.  We use ISA server and it replaced the hostname in the HTTP request with some manually entered hostname.  The relevant setting is Send the original host header to the publishing server instead of the actual one (specified above).  This setting needs to be checked instead of the default which is to be unchecked.
