Also, everytime I tried to add roles to my domain account it gave me an error:

An error has occurred.
Error: User Roles is currently unavailable.

think maybe this is b/c of my issue with the passwords not meeting the dnn password requirements?

I'm not 100% sure the password length is the cause for the error you're getting when trying to add roles but to answer your question about the password length you can change the password length in the web.config. Do a search in the web.config for minpasswordlength (going off of memory on the variable name) and change it from 7 to 6.

Edit: Just re-read your post and when you manually log out it'll keep you logged out until the cookie expires (default in the web.config is an hour) or until the app is recycled (IIS default is 20 minutes).

OK cool... I really appreciate all of your assistance with my issues!! Hopefully, I'll be able to stop bugging you before too long....

Is there a way to add roles to people before they register? For instance, I would like some of the other techs (users and/or groups) to have access to pages on the site so when they join for the first time, they automatically have access to the pages. Instead of having them join, then having me add the access, then have them go back to the site, etc...

Only if you manually add them to the user accounts which should work as their password should be updated the first time they login automatically.
