Hey, this is an issue I am trying to figure out myself!  In the forum we are building, users have to log in everytime they come back.  What do we change that line in the web.config file to read if we don't wnat them to keep having to login?

Of course now my members online module is not always accurate.  Gotta play with these settings more....

Okay, I read the blog by Cathal, and it looks like at the end they had a fix for this, but not being a programmer, I don't know enough to know how to make my site work with it.  Is this something I will have to update a module for? Change the web.config file? I am a hair confused on where I would need to fix the issue.  I would love to have an accurate (within 1 min) accounting of who is and who isn't online, as well as give th eusers the convenience of the automatic login feature if they want it (persistant cookie?).  With this fix, does that mean that even with a persistant cookie, once the user closes the browser (without logging off) they will stop showing up as online in the Users Online module?  Until this is resolved, I cannot offer my members the User Online module, as it is terribly inaccurate.
