Try this:
SQL Server2K, just open Query Analyzer and Connect to the server and database. Find the query below and run it.

SQL Studio Express - Open
expand to DotNetNuke
Expand DotNetNuke Database
Expand Tables
Find Portals table
Right click and Script Table as (Choose SELECT to... It's quicker)
Delete the Select Statement and place the line below.
Update Portals set LoginTabID = NULL where PortalName = 'SiteName' 
where SiteName is the name of the site.  I think it defaults to DotNetNuke if only one.

Thanks for all of your help.

The guys at www.mysitespace.com sorted it all out for me and it is now back up and working!  I cannot fault the service from this provider

Well? How did they fix it?

I used the suggestion above your last post with success, only he didn't include the step where you have to stop and restart the website via IIS to make this work.

How did this bug happen in the first place?????

Is someone hacking DNN sites?

My apologies.  I actually didn't have to reset IIS.  I will keep this in mind however.
