Hello ppl

I've been uninstalling some modules and as part of that want to remove a few lists that were created by a couple of them. I've never previously needed to remove any lists and have been surprised to not find any way to delete them.

I've checked the online help and it states that there are delete links for both the list items and the full lists, but for some reason there are no delete options anywhere that I can see. The Edit links are there as well as the options to add new lists and new items, but no delete.

All other admin modules on other pages work fine and have the full range of action buttons so I'm pretty sure it's not my container doing it.

This is on DNN 4.7. Can someone please check their lists page and let me know if the delete option is present?

Rob

AFAIR Charles added "delete" for host lists in ~ DNN 4.7.0, please check out the change log.

Thanks for the reply.

There's certainly no delete option in 4.7. I've checked the 4.8 change log and can't see it there either, but if everyone else has the delete option then I'll assume it will turn up after I've upgaded.

Hi Rob,

I just tested in a new DNN 4.8.0 installation wit a manually created list and there was a delete option for the list and its items.

Excellent, thanks for confirming that for me. I'll  leave the lists in place until the upgrade... I'm hanging out for 4.8.1 - should be a goodie!
