I have just set up my dnn site on a remote hosting server. I have found it a bit of a hassle to use file manager to up load hundreds of images (despite zipping them). I was wondering if it is possible and/or recommended to use FTP to upload my files to the remote server. I have gathered there must be a sync process with the database if i am going to do this from reading other posts relating to FTP. what is the best approach to take when uploading hundreds of files? example directory E:\inetpub\wwwroot\site\portals\3\photos\put hundreds of files here by FTP then sync with db?? how do i do that easily?

Thanks in advance

Chris Morton
