Different forum screens have different widths. For example when there are no pending messages for moderation the module shrinks. The behavior is similar for other admin and non admin screens

I think what you are seeing is a difference because of skinning.  This module uses edit pages which in most modules are only seen by admins.  This means the admin skin and container are used for these controls.  So, I think what you are seeing is your skin change.  On here, for example, I do not notice a change in width between any screens.

Perhaps I am missing something, please respond back and let me know what the deal is.

Thanks.

I went back to look at the skin. The pane cell that hosts the module did not have a value for width. The result is that the module width, in certain screens, shrinks and expands depending on content existance and the length of it.

For example going to moderation and when no messages exist, the module expanded just enough to allow the coulmn titles not to wrap. When messages exist, they expand.

I have added a 100% width to the pane, to have more consistance.

Does this fall as a oversight of the forums module or is this the designers fault?

Honestly, I am not sure which is the proper way to go.
