Thank You. I found the key. I have some custom module "ItemSeekInput" and one control "ViewItemSeekInput.ascx" with blank key value. How to translate (localize) the module title? The control disappears from page after entering the key value. What’s wrong? Thanks a lot.

AFAIK, only a single control per module can have a blank key - the default control, that gets its name from the tabmodule.

For all other controls, enter a key e.g. "Settings" and add "controlTitle_settings" (key name in lower caps!) to the resource file of the control.

Ok. How to localize a  Module Title?

Module title is entered by the page author - so translation is only needed for multilingual (ML) sites with content in multiple languages. you need 3rd party modules, to provide ML content as well as ML page and module properties.

PS: AFAIK there is no option to localize the module name in the dropdown list of the control center at the top of the page, except manually editing it in host::module definitions.
