I have installed the latest version of the feedback module and I wonder if anyone can tell me how I should go about setting the subject line.

I would like the subject line to be read only and I would like to set its value.

When I go to the settings for the module I see a dropdownlist for Subject but can only select  'None Selected'. I tried adding a plSubject.Text to the Feedback.ascx.resx file but that did not populate in the dropdownlist.

Next I see several radiobuttons that allow me to either hide the subject or allow visitor to edit subject.

How can I set the subject, make it visible and read only?

Hello!  You are close... I believe you clicked the "Settings" icon which looks like a pencil w/paper.

1) Check to make sure you are in Edit mode and not "View" or "Design" - these radio buttons exist at the top of the page  It sounds like you are, but just for sure ...
2) Locate you Feedback module and locate the dropdown arrow, usually upper right corner but may vary depending on your skin.
3) Select "Feedback List" then on the next window select the Subject radio button.
4) Check the "Is Activate" checkbox and add your name/value entries clicking save.

You will now be able to specify the value for the Feedback Subject.  Access the settings for the module as you previously did and mentioned above.  The subject will be selectable from the dropdown.  It will be read-only by default, I believe, but would verify this.  That's about it.

Good luck!

John

Hey John,

Thanks for your feedback. I didn't see any of the items you were mentioning withing the down arrow menu so I uninstalled and re-installed the feedback module and now all is well. Thanks,

Frank
