Hi there,

I have the worst of the possibilities all happened.

  1. Downloaded the file structure from production to local computer (4.4)
  2. Upgraded the local files to 4.8 version
  3. Stoped production IIS to place the files on server.
  4. Started IIS to upgrade
    1. First issue the database ran out of space
    2. But the install upgrade process kept on continuing even when it said 4.5-4.8 scripts could not install correctly.
    3. The upgrade process updated the Assembly and the version table to 4.8 even though views and store procedures were droped and could not be recreated as there was not enough space to run the script.
    4. The package's could not be installed so the LiveID and OpenID are not available.
  5. Fixes I did, After working with my host provider I had enough space for re-running the script from 4.5-4.8
  6. The current issue is I get the unlimitted returnurl string copied below. Not sure how to fix it?

I think it's because of the LiveID or OpenID package but not sure what it is that will fix the issue.

Any suggestion will be helpful as the website is down andd I have to bring the production site back online.

thanks in advance,

~Wasay

One more thing about this is I may have deleted RoleID of the TabPermissions table by mistake or the role id of the ModulePermissions RoleID. all I see in either table is RoleID = null

I was trying to run the script manually and I saw that their is a TempRoleId column who's value is getting set to RoleID but what I didn't realize was that before setting the value of TempRoleID to RoleID the RoleID value is set to TempRoleID and I just missed that step.

May be what ever I did caused some major issue in the permissions tab. I can't restore nore I can redo the website as it's 5 portals and the website is 4 years old so any help suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

thanks,

~Wasay
