I have created a DNN sit ena dbought the domain but i have had so many problems getting it live. I have hosting which has SQL Server 2000 and the content is uploaded. but the database has been a huge problem. I dont know what DNN uses, think its some type of SQL express tool. i downloaded Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express and used it to generate a .sql file so i could run this on the server to populate the database i created on the server. however this file is just throwing up literally thousands of syntax errors. I have lost all patience with it so im asking for advice/help from an expert which i will be willing to pay for. anyone?

Why are you writing SQL scripts to populate the database?  Does DNN work after your installation?  All you need to do on the database is create the login and assign it permission for the database, make it dbo and you're done.  Use the Install version of DNN, edit the web.config to match the connection string to your database and browse to your home page and follow the wizard.

Do you have a host?  Do they provide support for DNN?
