Have the following questions:

DNN version 4.0.4

Requirement #1

I need to pass "userid" to an external asp.net app. Have tried Iframe with success but I want to use a Solpart menu option and a link setup in a  "html/text" module

1.1Starting with what DNN release number the Html/Text module has "tokens" available.

1.2.How to pass userid parameter using an option from a Solpart menu

1.3. Do I need to build/create a DNN module for #2

Requierement #2

Once the page in the external app is called I need to verify that the userid parameter

2.1. Is a registered user. This is no problem as I can query the DNN database

2.2. Userid is a logged into the portal. How to go about this???

Any ideas are welcome.

I have read about module creation, Iweb and other options but I need a solution ASAP and I'm not an DNN/.net expert developer. If someone if willing to tackle this type of work please contact me at agromat.ramirez@codetel.net.do

Thanks for your reply. Just a followup question. How and where is the info. related to logged users  stored? Is this done on a session/cookie, table? I need to check from an external app whether the use is logged into DNN but I don't know how to proceed.
