Here is what I have...

DNN 4.8.0
Visual Studio 2008 Pro
ASP.Net 3.5
SQL2005

I have gone through the aDEFWEBSERVER "LINQ to SQL"  tutorial and I have ran into a snag.  On the inserting sub, I keep the error: ModuleName.UserID is ReadOnly.  I have no clue on where to start on resolving this issue.  Any help would be appreciated.

Here is my sub:

Protected Sub LinqDataSource1_Inserting(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As System.Web.UI.WebControls.LinqDataSourceInsertEventArgs) Handles LinqDataSource1.Inserting
Dim GPDPersonnel As GPDPersonnel.View = DirectCast(e.NewObject, GPDPersonnel.View)
GPDPersonnel.UserId = Entities.Users.UserController.GetCurrentUserInfo().UserID
GPDPersonnel.ModuleId = ModuleId
End Sub

Thanks Again for your assistance on this.

Eric
