I tried to display the event module at 2 panes on one page. Tha reason I wanted to do this is to have one show as Calendar, and the other one show as a LIST. BY adding a new module, the 2 events container then not only won't display properly ( one event TEXT is not visible), but also 2 events do not include each other's events.   So  then tried to ADD Existing module, but found out that the Page you're currently is not listed when Add Existing Modile is selected.

Anyone has such a similar need? Any solution or work around, without having to modify source code? Thanks.

I ended up using this module for lists.. seems to work much better than trying to tie two events modules together:

I didnt' like the default layout, but the ascx file is easily altered.

One day I tried something out and it seemed to be a workaround of displaying the same EVENTS CALDENDAR on various pages.  First, when I added the Events/Calndar, there is an option that allows me to add it to all pages. Then I was able to delete it from the pages that I don't want it to be.  While I think this may work out at the beginning when you don''t have tons of pages. Otherwise, you'll have to deal with deleting them from many pages.

I agree on this point.. and I think you should add this as a suggestion at support.dotnetnuke.com

The point being that there could be an additional tick box under the module advanced settings... it would say "Add to all existing pages"

It would differ from "Add to all pages" in that it would only copy itself to the pages currently present on the portal.

Sound like a good idea to me.
