Hi

I'm running DNN 4.5.5 and the latest events module 03.03.08. I'm having an issue in that the links on the event module are not working. I've set up a test page here:

http://www.memoryschool.com/Default.aspx?tabid=96

As you can see when your try and click on the event, the view doesn't change and the same happens when you click on list view or week view.

Any ideas what could be happening here?

Thanks

Mark

Seems that you turned the friendly URLs setting off to use a third-party friendly URLs provider. The Events module doesn't work with friendly URLs off; see http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/20/threadid/126959/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I'm having the same problem as Mark, and I have Friendly URLs turned on. Interestingly, it appears that URLs for some calendars are being translated into friendly URLs and others are not./p>

e.g. I have one calendar that works, no problem. The links to events look like this:
http://[server]/Home/tabid/37/ModuleID/597/ItemID/41/mctl/EventDetails/language/en-US/Default.aspx?selecteddate=3/14/2008

I have another calendar where I am unable to click on and edit events. The links to events look like this:
http://[server]/Default.aspx?tabid=140&ModuleID&903&ItemID&189&mctl&EventDetails&selecteddate=3/6/2008&language=en-US

Do I need to add a new Friendly URL rule or modify one of the default rules?

Strange! You don't have to add any URL rewriting rules specially for the Events module. Are these calendars in the same DNN installation? Are they set up differently?

Yes, they're on the same site. I've matched the settings exactly, in order to try to figure out what's going on. The only difference is that the one that works is on the front page, and the one that doesn't is deeper in the site. The one that works has one subcalendar and the one that doesn't has three.

Any other information I can provide that might help? I'm really at a loss here.
