I consider myself an amateur ASP Programmer.  I've done a little bit with ASP.Net, but still struggle to wrap my brain around it.

I've gone through Michael Washington's tutorials on creating DNN modules...but still struggle (eagerly awaiting the Module Development book from WROX).

Anyway....let me get to the point....

Does anyone have experience with NowGenerator, DNN Module Builder and/or DNN Kickstart?

Specifically, what I'm looking for is something that lets me create full-fledged DNN modules that follow the standards of DNN and can be used to easily create a Module Installation package (Zip file) and DON'T require you to run additional programs on your DNN site to install/run those modules.

Just curious. What issues did you have after going through the tutorials?

Michael,

I think that my confusion stemmed from how much content was copied/pasted.  Again, though, I'm an amateur ASP Developer....not a skilled .Net programmer.  So, issues with Classes, Procedures, etc. are a bit overwhelming.

PS.  I downloaded the trial version of DNN Kickstart which, so far, seems to be the nudge that I needed.

Also,

This tutorial has less cutting and pasting:
