We're using SharePoint internally for doc management and team sites. We'd like to use DNN for more of our 'general info' intranet. It'd be great if we could leverage both by having doc lists in ShraePoint show up on DNN pages.

Some of the larger commercial CMS solutions offer this. Is there a module available for DNN anywhere? The catch in that searching for this is difficult as a lot of places that sell DNN modules also sell SharePoint Web Parts, so you end up with a ton of false hits when searching for "DotNetNuke SharePoint Connector"

A while ago, I started to build such module. It is exposing a SharePoint list through a DotNetNuke module. It is functional but not ready to be commercial, or distributed.  I didn’t finish it because didn’t see any interest in DNN community.  This would be the first post addressing this issue.

Wow. Really!?

From what I'm seeing, SharePoint 2007 is really gaining a LOT of traction in organizations, so there's no escaping it.

Some of the larger commercial .net CMS system are now offering SharePoint Connectors (such as SiteCore).

I have a hunch that this is a good thing for DNN, though. MOSS/Sharepoint, for all the good things it does, it REALLY sucks at web content management. I mean REALLY sucks. So, I think more org's are possibly going to be augmenting their MOSS install with DNN (I know we are!).

So, you'll have at least one customer ;o)

If you ever release it, let me know!
