Hello,

I have just put the forum module on a page.  I created a new theme to match the site being built.  But when I click new post and I am taken to the screen to Add/Edit post, the skin changes to the admin skin.  For this site we have left the admin skin as the default DNN skin, so it looks odd.  How can I change the skin on the Add/Edit post page?

I saw under Templates there is a Skin Templates, but it is greyed out and I cannot select it. Is that something I can use?

Thanks,

Dave

Hello Dave. We are having the same issue. Did you ever get this issue resolved?

Thank you,
Veronica

The Forum is not used the skin.  The forum is a container in a skin. Also the Forum used it own themes, you can find in the ~/DesktopModules/Forums/Themes folder.  If the theme is viewed in the Forum General settings but grayed out, you have a issue in your skin changes.  This can not be supported by this team.

Hi Matthias,
I am experiencing the same problems described by Dave and Veronica, that is when a registered user replies or starts a new thread, the page skin in which the forum module appears is not any longer the one of the page that is hosting it but the one used by DNN when logged in as admin or host. Is there a way to avoid it? is this a bug or a misconfiguration problem?

Also could you give more details about the use of the menu options appearing in the "Forum Administration > Templates" menu and why all its items (What's New Templates, RSS Templates, Skin Templates, Post Statistics Templates, Moderator Statistics Templates, Move Post Templates (Reason), Delete Post Templates (Reason)) are disabled except for the Email Templates?

Thanks for your help
Gaspare

Yeah, I am also getting only the "Email Templates" as a link.  All the other templates aren't "clickable".  Anyone found a fix for this?
