Peter,

My shop bought two DMX 4 licenses serveral month ago.  I have not activated them yet because the sql server 2005 box is not ready.  If there is a way to make DMX4 to run on sql 2000, I could put it into use right away.  Could you provide detail on how to make DMX4 work on sql 2000?

In the interim, we are using Open-DocumentLibrary module (because it supports SQL 2000).  However, the Open-DocumentLibrary  does not have the document search and large file upload features like DMX4.

Thanks,

Fuji

Hi Fuji,

Like I mentioned above it's just about the use of NVARCHAR(MAX). It's new in SQL 2005. It used to be NTEXT in SQL 2000. Replace this in the scripts and you should be able to install the module under SQL 2000. If you need more help just contact me by email.

Regards,

Peter
