Update: 3/10/2008 The beta copies of the Wiki module have been removed. We are still working on one issue with the module in the release process and hope to have it resubmitted on Tuesday 3/11.

I've posted a new Wiki beta that you can download and break to your hearts desire! There are still a couple issues that I need to test, such as various edit permission scenarios, and unicode character. If anyone wants to check those out please test with this version and let me know if you run into any issues.

UPDATE: 2/29/2008

Alright folks 04.01.00 was submitted to the release process today. If you have previously installed the 04.01.00 BETA you should download the files again from the above link.

The submitted project had a 04.01.00.sqldataprovider file, the previous betas of the module DID NOT HAVE THIS. Here are the steps to make DNN execute this file if you have previously installed 04.01.00 and want to upgrade to the potential release code.

Open your Desktopmodules table in your database, find the row for the Wiki module, change the version to be 04.00.01.

Upload the 04.01.00 version of the Wiki module (download above).

If you don't do this you will be missing some of the SQL changes that were made to the Comments tables for this release.

ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR SITE BEFORE YOU INSTALL/UPGRADE A MODULE!

I will be removing the 04.01.00 files from www.engagemodules.com 1 week from today. if you want to download and use the latest Wiki module before it makes it through the release tracker do it soon. If there are any other changes to the module based on the release tracker feedback I will not be releasing any more Betas, at least I don't plan to now.

Thanks for the new beta.

I was able to add two pages with the same Page Name.

New package, shouldn't allow you to add a page that already exists now.

I've deployed new beta module on plain DNN 4.8.1.

So... The same issue with IE and unicode characters stays in new beta: can't edit pages with unicode characters in page name. I believe, the same issue causes submitting user-ratings to fail for unicode-named pages. I don't have this issues with Firefox.

Unicode comments are not stored properly. I've made some research in one of the previous versions and found, that  comments are stored as varchar  rather than nvarchar. I believe, this can be fixed without much trouble.

Restoring page via history causes redirection to the WikiHomePage rather than the page restored.

It's good to see that comment and rating UI collapsing is fixed.

Thanks for your work!
