Hey there,

I've given your new version a try but no joy for me I'm afraid, I get the following error,

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/dnn/DesktopModules/OTBMedia-UpcomingEvents/UpcomingEvents.ascx.vb' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpParseException: The file '/dnn/DesktopModules/OTBMedia-UpcomingEvents/UpcomingEvents.ascx.vb' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpParseException: The file '/dnn/DesktopModules/OTBMedia-UpcomingEvents/UpcomingEvents.ascx.vb' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The file '/dnn/DesktopModules/OTBMedia-UpcomingEvents/UpcomingEvents.ascx.vb' does not exist. at System.Web.UI.Util.CheckVirtualFileExists(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ProcessCodeFile(VirtualPath codeFileVirtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ProcessMainDirectiveAttribute(String deviceName, String name, String value, IDictionary parseData) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ProcessException(Exception ex) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ParseStringInternal(String text, Encoding fileEncoding) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ParseString(String text, VirtualPath virtualPath, Encoding fileEncoding) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ParseString(String text, VirtualPath virtualPath, Encoding fileEncoding) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ParseFile(String physicalPath, VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.ParseInternal() at System.Web.UI.TemplateParser.Parse() at System.Web.Compilation.BaseTemplateBuildProvider.get_CodeCompilerType() at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvider.GetCompilerTypeFromBuildProvider(BuildProvider buildProvider) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvidersCompiler.ProcessBuildProviders() at System.Web.Compilation.BuildProvidersCompiler.PerformBuild() at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.CompileWebFile(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(String virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.Skins.Skin.InjectModule(Control objPane, ModuleInfo objModule, PortalSettings PortalSettings) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Aah! I got it working, the package didn't automatically install the .vb files so I just ftp'd them to the location in the error message, it's all working great now.

Thanks a million dude!

I've been looking at your code and it appears to be a bug with the events module rather than your module.
