Trying to create a new website with the starter kit in VS-2008, however it hangs when running database installation scripts. Any ideas?

Changing the web config settings to false didn't help, found that in another post.add key="AutoUpgrade" value="false" />add key="UseInstallWizard" value="false"/>

There appears to be a problem in the InstallWizard.aspx. Stepping into debug I get an "Expected Object error" in the javascript when it gets to the database scripting step;

function

reportAction(s)

{

$(

}

If I set the Startup page to the install.aspx, then the database scripts run and the project builds.

'txtFeedback').value += s;

I have tried both of the above solutions and I still get this javascript page error and the installation does not continue.

I quit the install and after stating over, tried the autoinstall which worked fine. Problem solved.

I found that setting the Install.aspx as the start page will run the scripts after the first try and then resetting the Default.aspx as the start page.
