Hi all pros

What is the best pratice searching through .resx files? When I use the windows default search option from the explorer I cannot search through the text email when trying to search inside a file ..... it doesn't find it even though I have a .resx file with the word email inside it?? How do you guys do ?

Windows doesn't search all file types be default.  You can look at the article Using the "A word or phrase in the file" search criterion may not work to see how you can turn on searching within resx files.

I would typically just use Visual Studio to search .resx files, myself.  Are the files you're looking through not part of a solution?

Hope it helps,
