Hi All,

Im relitively new to SQL and getting things to work with it.  I have followed the instructions for install in the pdf downloads, however when i get to the web portion i get these errors:

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 20
Number: 0
Message: A user instance was requested in the connection string but the server specified does not support this option.

Index #: 1
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 0
Number: 5701
Message: Changed database context to 'master'.

Index #: 2
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 0
Number: 5703
Message: Changed language setting to us_english.

 

Any help would be much appreciated as i am kinda a little stumped.

GC,

not sure about your specific problem, but all I for one didn't find the PDF downloads much help.

Instead, I found sites like this more of a help:
