I am fairly new in using DNN and I have been playing around with the latest version. As a proof of concept attempt for my brothers website I have modified a module for sending an email upon registration.

I want to be able to attach a PDF to the email and send it when someone fills out a form.

Where would I find the API in DNN or can someone please provide the code which would allow me to attach a document in the file manager to the email which I have generated.

take a look at the following link for information about DotNetNuke's sendmail functionality:

You should only need to include the path to the file in your email request

please be aware, that there have been enhancement in the DotNetNuke.Services.mail.mail.sendmail method, I suggest to have a look at the current interfaces and source code (library/components/mail/mail.vb)
