Hello,

I'm not quite sure if this is the right place, but i try:

I'm looking for an explanation for the following phenomenon:

We are still using DNN 4.3.3 with Friendly URLs deactivated and after login the user is redirected to a certain page. With this configuration when a user logs in he is authenticated and will now be redirected. Therefor in \admin\Security\Signin.ascx.vb line 86 (_RedirectURL = NavigateURL(CType(setting, Integer))) the relative URL for the desired page is generated, e.g. "/Portal/Default.aspx?tabid=150". This URL is then used in line 282 (Response.Redirect(RedirectURL, True)). But the client gets the following link in the redirection page:
a href="http://[ip adress web server]/Portal/Default.aspx?tabid=150"

So the relative URL became an absolute!?

In the normal case it's not bad. But when the customer hides the portal behind a reverse proxy and don't want to make rewrites, then the authentication functions, but afterwards you get an error page of the proxy server.

Is there a way to conserve the relative URL?

Much thanks.

I suspect that this is part of the URLRewriter process which I don't know a lot about and would have to step through the code to verify.
