I'm trying to install DNN on my development workstation and I'm getting the following error when I execute the install:

 

Compilation Error

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: BC30451: Name 'Config' is not declared.

Did you rename develop.config or release.config to web.config and edit the connection strings as required?

If working with the source package, the solution needs to be built before you can run it.

I hope this is of some help to you.

the portal is giving me problems yesterday this worked perfectly from making about 5 months and then suddenly this happens? could it be?, it is not a new installation. I'm usundo version of DNN is 04/05/2004 and dontnetnuke.dll 5.6.0

there must be a change in your site configuration. Make sure, there is no web.config file in a sub directory either.
