i have a problem with this setting and i can't decide weather it's a DNN core bug or not. I'm using broadcast provider for cache management. lets take the following senario: suppose there are 2 servers in a farm: A and B. A insert an item to the cache with key "key" and insert a record to the Broadcasts DB table. after a scheduler tick , B gets this key and remove it from the cache. this is the concret remove function: Public Overrides Sub Remove(ByVal CacheKey As String, ByVal AddBroadcast As Boolean) If Not objCache(CacheKey) Is Nothing Then Dim c As New Controller objCache.Remove(CacheKey) If AddBroadcast AndAlso WebFarmEnabled() Then c.AddBroadcast("RemoveCachedItem", CacheKey, Common.Globals.ServerName) End If End Sub as you can see , the remove function adds a record to the brpadcast itself, thus a cycle begin without any break condition! am i wrong? please help if you know this issue .. Lior.
