I have set up the DNN forums on my site (it’s in dev server so I can’t link you over) and am having a few major issues.

I initially was confused on how to set the permissions for users on a per-forum basis but I now have locked it to Public w/ No Moderation settings. All of the user roles seem to work properly while logged in and the problem was almost fixed… but we all know that’s never the case.

Issue – When I view my domain.com/forum URL and I’m not logged in to the site I cannot see the forums anymore. It’s just removed from the page and I’m not sure why…

Anyone have any experience in modifying user roles and having their forum disappear for unregistered users (basically anyone who visits the site can’t read the forums, including crawlers, until they sign up.)

We've set the pages security settings to allow anonymous / unauthorized users to view the forum, but it's still not showing up. We only wish to restrict the access to regular forum rights just like this one has. Unregistered can view, not newtopic and reply. RegisteredUnverified can view, but not newtopic and reply, and Verified users can newtopic, reply, and edit.

Please help!
