Hi,

i've tried to install DNN 4.8.1 on a 2003 server with IIS6 and SQLServer 2005. I used the guide from www.mitchelsellers.com/Blogs/tabid/54/articleType/ArticleView/articleId/119/Installing-DotNetNuke-455-Locally.aspx but  i think the Installation isn't completed because i get the error 'The stored procedure 'dbo.GetPortalAliasByPortalID' doesn't exist' Looking in the Db  i see that there are nor tables nor procedures

I've tested the connection to the Db a few times and that worked. Are there some scripts i can run to reinstall?

Regards, Alex

Alex,

I would suggest starting over if you made it a certain way through the install and it failed, sometimes issues from an incomplete install can linger and cause more trouble than its worth.

I would make sure that when you hit your site to choose the "Auto" install method. Although it is solely my personal preference, i have had far less issues when installing DotNetNuke using the "auto" installation than I have when I've used the wizard.

Take care,

Ian
