Over three years ago that was my plan -- as a veteran software developer, I immediately recognised the value proposition of the DNN environment. I bought a couple domain names to serve as the foundation of my future fortune. Years (and a career change) later, it is time to pass this opportunity on to an enterpreneur who will fulfill the potential: DNNStore.Com + DNNStore.Net to the first $1700, same as I paid for them. Be the next raindrenched.com. No sites included -- you could better that anything I could create today.

I expect that this "annoucement" will be moderated into oblivion -- if actually anyone sees this, pass it on. I just can't think of anyplace else to get the word out to people who would care. Not looking to auction these off to the highest bidder, just unloading them.

I doubt those domain names are worth $1700. There's loads of DNN names you can buy for $8 - for example, DNNMarketplace was bought only last week, and DotNetNukeShop.net is available for $8 (will probably bought by tomorrow).

I'm with Rodney Joyce on this one.

Unless there is already a traffic flow on a site, I don't see it being worth that much to someone right now, you can just get a slightly different domain name....I'll take my $8 registration of DotNetNukePlanet.com and move on..

I have to agree as well. I am a member of StomperNet as well as the DNN community and I am ramping up a major eComm site using DNN and ASPDotNetStorefront ML/DNN version. Not that many people are on that platform, so I hope to develop myself as a go-to guy for this platform. So I bought DNNeCommerce.* just last week since they were all available.

I hope to get it up and running in conjunction with my site launch....but there are just so many things to do.

Any other StomperNet members in DNN? I know there are a few, but just wondering how many.

If you are in SN are you coming to the live event in Atlanta in a few weeks? I will definitely be there.

BTW, I have paid as much as $500 for a domain, but I really wanted it. So you might find someone that really wants these domains. You never know. I have about 200 domains but have paid only standard price for almost all of them.

If I wanted to become "The Resource" wouldn't it make more sense to register dnnresource.com or thednnresource.com?  Both of which are available I might add.  Or at least for the ten minutes it takes someone to grab them now that I mentioned it.  Hey, I don't want them so have at it.
