Gentlemen, we are trying to add a function to DNN, that can be seen on iStock Photo as well as various other stock image sites. We initially used various photo galleries that are available on SnowCovered and several other sites, but they just lacked the full control that we were after to display the artwork we produce, and the illustration and sketching that some of our DC Comics designers do.
If I may, our site is located here: http://www.pixelmatters.biz/main/ and there is of course a link at the top that leads to the portfolio, from there you can select any directory such as T-Shirts or Illustration and Sketches. We are only adding 12 to 20 images in each section, about 6 sections total.
What we are wanting to do, is when someone "mouseovers" the text title to the right of each 100 x 100 thumbnail or the image itself, it will popup a window with the full size view. We resize all of our images to a maximum of 640 width or 640 height, the image can be any combination as long as the height or width does not exceed 640 pixels.
I search everyone. Dynamic drive, and many many other sites dealing with CSS, Javascript, DHTML, and more, and... nothing.
Can anyone recommend anything, or has anyone tackled this yet? Even more so, would anyone care to? Like I stated earlier, we simply did not have the control we were after with the image viewers we tested, so wanted to go more manual on it, except for now, and this last step isn't so easy :)
I greatly appreciate any feedback, ideas, concepts, or actual code that anyone would be so gracious to offer.
