I get this error when I try to install the starter 4_0_2_starterkit

"Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist.  The project type is invalid for your installation of Visual Studio."

I have vs2003 and 2005 both installed on the same machine.

figured this out, I think I had express version of vs2005. Unstalled it and installed vs2005 pro. Starter kit installed like a good puppy and I can see it in my new website tamplates.

In VS 2005, go to Tools -> Option -> Projects and Solutions -> General. Change projects templates location to directory of IIS (default is C:\Inetpub\wwwroot). I installed Starter Kit, good luck!
