I have not seen this before and have checked out her user account but I have a child site created and setup the user with an account and put her in the Administrators role which should allow her to do basically anything and does. However, when she logged in the other day she can add / update / delete pages, change the settings of a page, can add / delete / move a module on a page, and rename the title field. Great. However, her account seems to not be able to edit the content of a module. The option simply does not exist in the menu or the quick edit mouse over feature.

I checked out her account and all seems fine but (obviously) I am missing something. Any help in resolving this issue is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If it were only that easy.

I am including a screenshot as illustration

http://dnn.ellicottconsulting.com/Support/screenshot/tabid/250/Default.aspx

In the screen shot you will see that she is logged on in edit mode and the icon to 'edit content' is not available, nor is it available from the drop down menu

I just added a links module with no problem but cannot add a link! The option is simply not there.

If I login I do not have this problem. Confusing.

Thoughts?

if the conent is not available as well and there is a little green "+" in the "Design" icon in control panel (last icon in left section) you are in design mode, which prevents from editing as well. Click that icon and edit option as well as existing content will re-appear - it's like magic, isn't it ?

Doh!  Actually I use DNN at two locations,  both running a different minor version and the control panel is just different enough that the design feature is a +/- icon and the other it is a radio button (which I am acutely aware of). Anyway problem solved... time to raise the version of DNN to the latest!

Regards.
