I thought I had successfully installed 4.8.1, but when I start the site wizard, the only template available is the DotNetNuke template. All of the documentation I have read so far indicates that more are included:  Club, Personal Site, portal, Small Business Site. Have I missed a step?

Have you checkut to create a new portal under Host?  I am actally not sure if it still included.  But you can delete the content module that was creating with the setup, and add your own module you need.  I think in the templates are not other skins.  So you can design what you want on the existing portal.

That's a good question.

If you select Host|Portals and click add new portal, do you see those under Portal Setup|Templates drop down list?

Normally there are two files per template called *.template and *.template.resources in the (root)/Portals/_default directory.

I just quickly checkeded 4.8.1 install and could not find these files anywhere.

If they are leftovers during upgrades, I wonder when they first disappeared from the installation package.

Dwayne,

this has been changed in DNN 4.8, AFAIR you have to take a look into the portal folder, it was created with.
