VS2008, XP Pro. Installed the source code. Compiles. App started up. I went through all those initial pages, setup the db, etc. Now I'm to a point where the site just keeps relaunching the error page over and over again in a loop. I've given everyone full rights to the directory.

Doesn'y anybody have some idea?  I downloaded 4.8.2. Overwrote my 4.8.1. I just get object reference not set errors. So I dumped the db, cleared the directory and started all over again with 4.8.2. Now I'm back at the same place. Is there something else I need to install besides just the source?

Shouldn't I be able to just on a fresh machine, unzip the source package, open the sln, create an empty db, setup the connection strings, and then just run it?

+  exc {"Request for ConfigurationPermission failed while attempting to access configuration section 'system.web/deployment'. To allow all callers to access the data for this section, set section attribute 'requirePermission' equal 'false' in the configuration file where this section is declared."} System.Exception
