Hi All,

Same problem here also…

I’m looking to implement DNN sites to be accessed exclusively over https, deployed to an environment where SSL unloading is handled at the load balancer (meaning DNN will only ever receive unencrypted requests).

I need to configure DNN for SSL (so it renders links as https etc), but if I enforce ‘Secure’ the application becomes inaccessible as DNN redirects back on itself over https - thus entering a loop.

(I am working for a corporate client and have limited options regarding the hosting environment.)

Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

You may just need to enable the UsePortNumber setting in the web.config < add key="UsePortNumber" value="true" /> (it is probably commented now), and turn off any SSL settings in DNN if you don't need them to be on SSL internally.

If you want to change all output urls that are using http:// to https:// then that can be done with the community edition of PageBlaster.
