Additional/Followup question

I have .Net framework 2.0 installed.  Is the DNN source compiled in .Net 1?  If so, do I need to recompile the DNN source for the 2.0 framework? (I have VS).

Thanks

Don Lowrey

Solution!

It appears that I did not have ASP.NET installed.  From Control Panel->Programs and Features->Turn Windows Features On or Off->IIS

Find the tick box for ASP.NET (note that there is also a checkbox for ASP, we are looking for ASP.Net).

This change gets me past the error and successfully loads the DNN installer (without having to modify the web.config code as suggested on another forum)
