Hello All,

             I have developed a module which has a datagrid on its home page displaying the content from the db.The development was done in version 4.8.1.But my client's server has web application built on version 4.7.when i install the module its installing fine.But when adding to the page i get the following error.

The above error message is being occured when i install the package which has dll's.(private assemblies).But when installed with source files (.vb files) its adding fine to the page.please help.

Accepted Answer 

You will need to compile against 4.7 (or older) in order for that website to link the assemblies together correctly.  The .NET Framework won't let you use an older version of a reference than what you built against.
