Jack - your suggestions are welcome and have been included with the new 5.0.0 release that is going to enter beta testing here shortly. :). I would agree with you that to a newbie it might be completely un-intuitive and I'd be open to any more suggestions you (or others) might have towards making this more user friendly.

Expanding on Jack’s thoughts; maybe it would also help to:

  • Change the “Category:” label to “Default Category:”
  • Include in the “Category List Visible:” (Hover Help) a note to choose a “Default Category”.
