Installed complete and working.  Can bring up portal using localhost/DNN4

BUT, go to any other machines (local netowrk) and try to hit <IP>/DNN4 and get the "page cannot be displayed".  Placing a "test.htm" file in the same directory and using <IP>/DNN4/test.htm WORKS! 

What stupid simple thing am I missing?!

Hi Ray,

I think you should have a look at the address bar while trying to browse your site from other machines. If you still see http://localhost... then you will need to add the right portal alias to the site.

You need to add the portal alias (<IP>/DNN4) to your portal alias table. 
Also remember that if your IP address is not static, the website might stop working the next time your IP address is renewed on your development machine....

ok!  I added an alias for my local network of <IP>/DNN4 and could browse it from another machine!!  Thanks for the assist.  I knew it was something simple.
