I am trying to upgrade my very stable 4.7 site to 4.8 but the database is not allowing it. Nothing on the backend has changed that I know of. 2003 Std., SQL Std 2005.

Upon looking in the Event Viewer, I see a bunch of these errors preceeding the failed install.

The only two enabled scheduled jobs I have running are:

DotNetNuke.Services.Scheduling.PurgeScheduleHistory, DOTNETNUKE

DotNetNuke.Services.Search.SearchEngineScheduler, DOTNETNUKE

Any previous posts on this would be appreciated if they exist, I didn't see the same problem I am having.

Thanks,

Ron

try to clear your scheduler history by running the following command from Host :: SQL:

TRUNCATE TABLE {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}ScheduleHistory

Thanks that cleaned up the table, but still am having problems. I tried to create a new page and instead was given this stack trace:

Error: Page Management is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'TabID', table 'orb_01.dbo.Tabs'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. The statement has been terminated. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Cannot insert the value NULL into column 'TabID', table 'orb_01.dbo.Tabs'; column does not allow nulls. INSERT fails. Not sure what is causing this, again nothing should have changed in the backend but haven't had this before so something must have changed. Has anyone ran into this error as well, I can't figure out why NULLS are being sent at all?

Thanks,

Ron

Help!  After I upgraded to 4.8.2, my pages do not work. I tried to log in, I got the error: Critical error has occurred: Could not load the assembly 'DotNetNuke.Authentication.LiveID'. Make sure that it is compiled before accessing the page.

Thanks

Hy
