I am getting persistent errors apparently generated by the Media Module, or at least reported by it.  I am running DNN 4.8.2 on WebHost4Life.  The following is one of the event entries:

EventQueue.ProcessMessage: Message Processing Failed
Processor Type: Donetsk.Entities.Modules.EventMessageProcessor, DotNetNuke
Body:
Sender:
BusinessControllerClass: DotNetNuke.Modules.Media.MediaController, DotNetNuke.Modules.Media
DesktopModuleId: 89
UpgradeVersionsList: 03.02.00,03.02.03
ExceptionMessage: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Server Name: DEDI560

The above message appears to be reported by ModuleId 89, which is the Id number associated with Portal Aliases, per my reading of the Modules Table.  Strange!  Also, I get similar messages, but with Module Id entries of 54 and 92 which are NOT registered in my Modules Table.

I have turned Friendly URL on/off but still get the same messages.

Any Ideas......

Thanks,

Hans

Hans

Hi Hans,

it seems that everybody using DotNetNuke 04.08.02 and similar are experiencing this problem. It seems to be ralated to the Media module trying to update from the Image module, that doesn't exist in the installation. Although this doesn't affect site's functionality, you can just use one simple workaround to fix it, and the event entries will stop showing. Go to the EventQueue table, and set all the IsComplete flags to True.

Best regards,
Dario Rossa

I installed the Media module into a 4.8.2 installation as well and I am unable to open any of the dialogs, Settings, Edit Media options, etc. Setting the IsComplete flag in the EventQueue didn't help. Any other ideas?

Thanks in Advance, Burl
