hello,

im using the default skin but have substituted our own logo. how do i center it? i dont see a property for it, so im not sure if i need to edit te CSS or what.

Not sure if this will work but try changing

.skinheader
{
text-align: center;
}

and see what happens. The default skin has the table setup to align left for the logo field, but it calls the .skinheader class for formatting the content so that might help. Can't promise though.  In general you would be better off making a copy of the default skin and then making changes to the table where you see [LOGO] token and set it to align: center  then upload the skin and install it as the new skin.

thanks, ill give that a try.

it is disappointing to see that DNN is still so heavily reliant on Tables for layout. wish itd go to a completely CSS-based layout (see www.CssZenGarden.com and www.oswd for standards-compliant, css-based layouts).

The default skin does, but there is nothing stopping you from creating a tablelless skin....

And if you want to stick with the default skin, I believe there's a pure CSS version somewhere. Just Google it. (I can't remember the address, sorry)
