I have an error  that's troubling me.  And I've removed this module, the DLL's the tables and stored procedures in the DB for the module but I still get this error.  Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could try to remove this error?  Thanks Jerry.

Hi Jerry,

I think that if you did not uninstall the module using the built in procedure of DotNetNuke you should at least find and remove also the entries in the DesktopModules, ModuleControls, Moduledefinitions, Modules, ModuleSettings, TabModules tables. And maybe some others which I forgot.

Hope that helps,
Dario Rossa

Hi,

I did use the portal wizard to uninstall the module, but it was still showing the errors in the event viewer.  So I tried manually removing the items I knew about.  I will try checking the other areas you suggested.

Thanks

Update:

I've checked the portal DB and there is no sign of that module, so I'm really at a loss of what 'ghost' is producing this error in my log.  I'm going to try a server reboot and see if that 'clears out the cobwebs'.

Jerry

Check that the module had not set up a scheduled task.
