either use a skin without a print icon or perform the following query from Host :: SQL:

Update {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}TabModules TM INNER JOIN {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}TABS T ON TM.TabID = T.TabID SET TM.DisplayPrint = False WHERE T.PortalID = 0

(assuming your are on Portal 0.

Had a bit of a problem with SQL as shown above,  however the following worked SQL 2005

UPDATE
    {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}TabModules
SET
    DisplayPrint = 0
FROM
    {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}TabModules TM
    INNER JOIN {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier}TABS T ON TM.TabID = T.TabID
WHERE
    T.PortalID = 0

Remeber if using SQL Server Management Studio to perform update, replace {databaseOwner}{objectQualifier} with appropriate values.

Paul.

I think what  you might be looking for is

Click on Settings for a (any) module
Expand Page Settings
Expand Basic Settings
    Uncheck "Allow Print"
Expand Advanced Settings
    Check "Set As Default Settings?"
    Check "Apply To All Modules?"

All settings set will be applied to all modules, so be careful using this (I accidently clicked it wrongly once).

The 'best' way to do these steps would be to add a new module, then follow the above steps, so it is already the default settings.

 Won't this SQL just turn off the print icon for all modules which have already been added to web pages? I'm interested in having new modules added to web pages, going forward, have the "Allow Print?" setting turned off, by default.

I believe that that is what the original poster wanted to know, also.
