I have spent a good week doing anything & everything I possibly can to get the forum email notifications working... for whatever reason it just won't work.

I thought it might be something else as other modules seemed affected, but not the case... everything is pretty much smooth apart from this.

Others have said this is a known bug, I was just wanting to confirm this is the case as I would hate to waste any more time trying to sort it.

Has anyone got the latest forum module working with DNN 4.8.2 with email notifications?  Apart from Admin or those subscribing to forums or posts... just those normal users that reply to a post you make.

Does anyone (again apart from admin) get notifications from here, the DNN forums?

I get some notifications from the www.dotnetnuke.com forums - but it is patchy and unreliable.  I still have to check back on the forums for the ones that are missed.  If there is a pattern to it then I have not spotted it.

Again I have to say it's very patchy, it seems to be okay for the project forum I'm Subscribed to but as far as anything else goes its a pain.

There is a known bug with the notification on thread/Post side.  It will be fixed in next version.
