I dont follow Dynamic aspect as Links does pick up the list from DB. However in your skin.xml you are able to change its behaviour for example

   <Setting>
    <Name>Level</Name>
    <Value>Root</Value>
   </Setting>

So for example you have the choice of Root or child

Classes or seperator options is as usual defined in the xml. Please note that you do not have the Fly-outs like you would in solpartmenu.

Torosin

My interpretation of dynamic may be different to yours - but my take on it is that it does render the menu in a single link method as displayed, so when you add menu items - they are automatically generated in the Links Skinobject.

Does that clarify it for you - or do you have a different interpretation that I have missed, that you can share.

Hi Nina,
I surely misunderstood your "Dynamic" term. I thought you mean that it is expanding the submenus dynamically when hovering on a main menu item.
For some reason I took it for granted that the links are updated with the changes of the pages setup.
Anyway, now I got your meaning.

I realize that the expandingissue is not a feature of the links Skin object.

Actually, from what I researched there is no other menu other then Solpart that gives this feature. Or I am wrong?

The RTL issue is OK with the links skin object though.

Thanks,
T.

That's why I asked the question - because it's very easy to misinterpret things..

I've been speaking with Anthony Glenwright from http://www.inventua.com and he tells me his skinobect is should be usable for RTL.

but yes you can use the links skinobject and create some nice active/idle/hover states with images.. but not flyout.
