I am setting up DNN 4.8.2 Starter Kit on my network.  A Windows Vista workstation running VS2008 and a W2K8 server running IIS 7 and SQL Server 2005.  After creating the site via the file system, creating a database and SQL Server user, and modifying the web.config, I pressed Ctl-F5.

VS2005 generated 181 errors that all seem to be 1 of 2 types.  They are either "Request for the permission of type..." or "Unknown Server Tag".

I have given the NETWORK SERVCE account Full Permission to the application directory.

Please advise.

Were you able to run the DNN site by itself before attempting to compile???

Did you try to install the DNN "Install" package first???

Remember you don't need to compile anything just to get DNN running.

I read through the above links but i can't find any information about publishing (compiling) a dotnetnuke website. Is it possilbe? I've installed the latest version of dnn 5.0.01. Currenlty I'm getting this error when i publish the site

.... Error    1    Could not load type 'DotNetNuke.Modules.Store.WebControls.AddressEdit'.    DesktopModules/Store/AddressEdit.ascx
