why Email property does not work with DNN ?

forexample when I send a feed back it should be sent to the email that I speciifed in the TO feild.

 

also when i register any one in my website he should receive a notification on the specified Email !

any answer please, am I the only person who face this problem?

How do you know it doesn't work?  Did you configure the SMTP functions in Host Settings?  Did the test work?

I know it is not working from my gmail box I did not receive any feedback notification.

I did go to host setting but and SMTP Server Settings but I don't know what I should write in the feilds.

Hi Miss .Net,

you should contact your host provider to obtain your SMPT mail server address. Then you'll need to have a working account on it to set in your DotNetNuke installation. All the notification emails will be sent using that account, then.
